Yoga Therapy

True healing occurs when all levels of a person’s being are in balance. Yoga therapy is a facet of the ancient science of yoga that focuses on health and wellness on every level: physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Yoga Therapy is a multi-layered healing journey that brings balance to the body and mind through the use of breathing exercises, hand mudras, yoga postures, lifestyle awareness, Yoga Nidra: Divine Sleep, and meditation.

The healing journey is unique to each individual, therefore practices are tailored specifically for your needs to facilitate optimal health and healing. Private Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra has the power to transform us at our core.  All you do is lie down and listen.  During this ancient tantric meditation, Jennifer will systematically guide you through each layer of being, called the koshas.  These include the physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies, making this practice a healing that is inclusive of our whole being.

Yoga Nidra induces the relaxation response, the state where the body heals and regenerates itself.  Our body knows exactly what to do to attain and maintain perfect health and equilibrium, but we need to go into this state to turn on the healing switch.  Yoga Nidra brings us easily, effortlessly, compassionately, inexpensively and rapidly into the healing state.

Practicalities

Wear loose fitting comfortable clothing. The studio is set up with all props so you do not need to bring anything unless you would prefer it.
