Join Kripalu Faculty Jennifer Reis for this summer series focused on deep healing relaxation. Through the guidance of Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra—a gentle yoga meditation that requires nothing but to lie down and listen—experience a natural shift in your nervous system into the parasympathetic relaxation mode. Cultivate inner freedom by allowing yourself to rest, balance, restore, and tap into new sources of energy.

Week One Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra Fundamentals
Learn the basics of Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra, the possible effects and results, and how to get the most out of each practice. Then you’ll be guided in an extended Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra meditation focusing on connection to your physical body and breath.

Week Two Honoring the Physical Body
One of the most important outcomes of yoga nidra is the nourishment that the physical body receives. Find out how to let go of tensions by fostering mindful connection within your body. You’ll be guided in an extended Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra meditation aimed at cultivating connection with your body, allowing you to feel greater levels of rest, relaxation, and calm.

Week Three Reaching Optimum Wellness with Breath and Energy
Understand why focusing on breath and energy in Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra meditation helps you to find your natural rhythm again, supporting optimum health. You’ll be guided in an extended practice focused on breath and energy that will allow your energy to circulate and flow instilling improved wellness.

Week Four The Effectiveness of the Journey
Find out more about the higher levels of mind and the journey stage of Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra and why it’s so effective to your overall wellness. You’ll be guided in an extended yoga nidra guided meditation focusing on the journey, activating your higher levels of mind and knowing.

Note There will be an optional Q&A and community sharing after all sessions. Please have available a blanket, pillows, bolsters or cushions, and optional eye covering for all sessions.
