WEEKEND! Leading Savasana: How to Guide Deep Relaxation, at Kripalu
For yoga teachers, therapists, counselors, health professionals, parents, and everyone interested in guiding others to relax and heal. You do not need to be a yoga teacher to do this training.
10-hour Certificate Training. 10-CE credits Yoga Alliance (YACEP), Kripalu 1000hr TT. 9-CE credits Social Workers. Includes 50-page manual. Participants will receive a letter of completion.
Savasana is often one of the favorite and sweetest parts of yoga class! Learn how to lead Savasana as a deep relaxation meditation that can help your students and clients deeply rest and transform. Jennifer Reis, the creator of Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra® and Five Element Yoga®, guides you to
- Learn how to nourish yourself and others
- Explore Savasana posture with props and variations
- Gain skills with guided practice and also leading others with beautiful scripts
- Find out how Savasana balances the nervous system and it’s restorative benefits
- Cultivate voice quality, pace, and explore music
You will learn Savasana meditations that are between five to twenty minutes to take home to lead in any class or session!
Leading Savasana Training is taught using an all-senses approach to speak to every learning style. Lecture with power point, discussion, receiving and delivering savasana sessions, as well as guided yoga posture practice and time to integrate and reflect, allow you to embody key concepts of the material presented.
