Unwind Your Tensions and Stress – Feel ‘You’ Again!

Learn new ways to cultivate your inner Oasis of Bliss each week in this new Series with yoga therapist and massage therapist Jennifer Reis. Our focus is to release tensions in both body and mind, allowing you to tap into your inner source of ease and joy.

Jennifer will skillfully lead you with three essential soothing practices during each session:

✔ Yoga: rhythmic movement and nourishing yoga postures with calming breathwork.

✔ Self-Massage: calming Ayurvedic bodywork, Energy Channels and Acupressure.

✔ Yoga Nidra: just lie down and listen for deepest relaxation in this guided meditation. 20-minutes of Yoga Nidra can feel like 2-3 hours of sleep!

Studies prove that relaxation helps to reduce stress and tension in the body. During stress, our body produces hormones like cortisol and adrenaline that can cause negative effects on our health, such as high blood pressure, headaches, and digestive problems.

Our Oasis of Bliss practices are relaxation techniques that can help to lower cortisol levels, reduce muscle tension, and promote joy, which can lead to improved physical health, as well as help to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression by promoting feelings of calmness. Regular relaxation helps improve overall mood, increases ability to cope with stressful situations, and boost quality of life.

Real relaxation improves sleep quality. According to a review published in the journal Sleep Medicine Reviews, relaxation techniques can help to improve sleep quality and reduce the amount of time it takes to fall asleep. This leads to better physical and mental health, as sleep is essential for the body to repair and regenerate.
