The main purpose of Ayurvedic bodywork is to activate your natural healing by calming the central nervous system, circulating the lymphatic system, and improving the flows of energy. It’s empowering to know that your own hands can bring about profound relaxation and healing effects.
In this workshop, you will learn more about Ayurvedic massage. Jennifer will guide you in a flow of gentle movement, breathing, and a special focus on soothing Ayurvedic self-massage to nourish you from head to toe. Then, Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra guided meditation, will allow you to rest and receive the nourishing benefits of our practice. You will leave relaxed, renewed, and with new tools for your self-care.

Abhyanga
is a rhythmic massage including circular strokes over the joints, and long fluid strokes over the bones. This is good for insomnia, anxiety, restlessness, stress, overwork, and exhaustion. Benefits include calming the nervous system, increasing lymphatic flow, detoxifying, improving circulation, toning body tissues, and rejuvenating the energy.
Marma
is circular massage on energy points to rebalance them, creating an overall sense of peace and well-being. Marma massage is good for relaxation, chronic tension areas, injury, busy mind, and emotions. Benefits include removing blocked energy, calming the mind, and stimulating the body’s self-healing potential.
