Meet Jennifer
Jennifer Reis developed Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra Teacher Training to embody and transmit everything that is necessary and practical for people who desire to lead themselves and others in yoga nidra.
Emphasis is on empowering trainees and graduates to blend their unique individuality and skills with this timeless practice, allowing them to share it as a personal expression and imbue it with meaning within their communities.
Jennifer has been leading this training since 2008, with more than 2500 graduates world-wide.
Creator of Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra and Five Element Yoga®, E-RYT 500, YACEP, Certified Yoga Therapist C-IAYT, Kripalu Center Faculty, LMT, Ayurveda and Shiatsu therapist, Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Yoga Nidra, the Body Scan, and Energy-Breath Level
- Learn about Yoga Nidra and the five Kosha levels as an orientation to our training.
- Be guided in experiential learning of the ‘Physical Body Level’.
- Discover the depths of the Body Scan Stage, how to lead it, and gain practice by leading a script to a partner.
- Explore the Energy Body and discover techniques for guiding Breath and Energy meditations in yoga nidra practice.
Sankalpa Intention and Mental-Emotional Level
- Learn Sankalpa Intention and how to guide potent heart-felt inquiry in yoga nidra.
- Gain insights into the Mental-Emotional level and acquire skills to navigate contrasting sensations and incorporate emotions into yoga nidra practice.
- You’ll be guided in indepth experiences of both the Energy and Mental-Emotional levels through discussion, slides, yoga and Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra.
Homework: Explore your personal yoga nidra practice and lead a partner with scripts.
Upanishads, Witness-Wisdom and Bliss Levels
- Learn ancient wisdom from the Upanishads, and the healing effects of yoga nidra meditation.
- Dive into the Witness-Wisdom and Bliss Levels of being with slides, discussion and guided yoga and yoga nidra practice.
- Explore the Journey Stage including how to create potent yoga nidra practices and scripts.
Lead a Complete Yoga Nidra & How to Take it Home
- Compile a complete script to your liking and lead it to a partner for a full experience tailored to you.
- Learn about music selection, how to lead Workshops and Classes as well as online, and how to take yoga nidra into your world.

Is there a Level II Teacher Training?
Yes! Level II Teacher Training has two parts and is offered live-online for your continued learning in script writing, diving into the levels of the mind, deepening your Sankalpa Heart’s Intention, how to use theme, creativity and how to create compelling journeys.
Do I need to be present for all of the live-online sessions?
This training is interactive with partner work and discussion and adds to the training. If there is an important reason you can miss 7-hours (equivalent of one day) of the training and then you’ll catch up with the Training Recording and partnerwork.
