Jennifer is an authentic and spirited leader, who has developed and led dynamic retreats and teacher trainings for over 22 years, including leading Kripalu School of Yoga 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training, and 800-hr Integrative Yoga Therapy Training. Creator of both Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra and Five Element Yoga®, she is one of the foremost teachers of yoga nidra. Her CDs have been the best-selling CDs at Kripalu Center for thirteen consecutive years. Jennifer’s popular educational Radiant Being newsletter has over 13, 000 subscribers worldwide.

Born in western Canada, Jennifer enjoyed the playground of the Rocky Mountains, fresh rivers, lakes, abundant sunshine, and lots of snow and ice! She graduated college with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and worked as a professional visual artist exhibiting her sculpture and installation work in Canada nationally before moving to the North Eastern US to teach yoga at Kripalu Center.

Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra

Developed by Jennifer Reis, Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra has become one of the most prominent forms of yoga nidra meditation. This systematic approach to both relaxation and deep transformation is practiced lying down or seated while being guided through all levels of being (the five koshic bodies) for awareness of the whole being. Over 1000 students have graduated from Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra Teacher Training.

Five Element Yoga®

Five Element Yoga® is a potent practice that invites you to celebrate your body with yoga postures, flow with yogic breathing, revitalize your energy with mudras, detoxify with self-massage, and find deep rest yoga nidra. You will flow through your body’s Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether elements to bring balance and harmony within. Jennifer is honored to teach weekly yoga classes, R&R workshops, and to serve as a Yoga Therapist at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health MA, the largest yoga center in North America, where she has been teaching for over 17 years.  You can also find her around the globe teaching Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra Teacher Training and leading Retreats.
